Eraser (1996)

Eraser is an Arnold Schwarzenegger action flick in which he works in witness protection. He discovers there's a mole in the system who is taking out critical witnesses, and he has to go outside the system to protect one particular witness. This is a decent ride, as far as big dramatic 90s thrillers go. Arnold is his regular capable-but-not-particularly-exciting self as an action hero, and the journey of trying to keep Vanessa Williams safe is an exciting one. It's fun to see these two fighting against a giant corporation and have an average woman be able to take them down. I don't necessarily remember any of the actions set pieces or scenes, which means that they were not much of a standout, but the overall vibe is decent. A lot of similar films from this time period I just find boring. This one was definitely not that, so kudos.
